Friday 4 to Friday, February 18, Scène Nationale d'Orleans is hosting the exhibition Living Dance designed and implemented by photographer Wang Yang. Through this project, the artist puts into perspective the diptychs composed of nude dancers moving their portraits and natural. The "models" are all performers from the Ballet Preljocaj, some of whom participated representations of Snow White the Orleans Theatre. Yang Wang attaches to the body but also emotions and faces of these dancers. His photographs in black and white contrasts are distinguished by rich, vivid visuals and a powerful sense of movement.
"The look of Yang Wang Yang Wang's eye is a muscle as flexible and agile than the rest of his muscles. He is able, with great velocity, doing the splits between a vision of sublime body through dance, and the rawest, most direct and almost banal reality. He spends so poetic vision bodies sculpted by light, documentary-like vision of the faces, restoring humanity disturbing that these mutants can sometimes evoke the dancers' bodies. "(from the preface of PRELJOCAJ Angelin).
