Zviane - Apnea
Because it is essentially an art of language, literature has always been fascinated by the paradox of silence she can say only if the break in speech. Even writing that happens to silence diffraction, creating a scene closed to silent reading. The Image Arts (drawing, painting) however, are silent in advance but still obsessed with white, by the representation of an absence where there would be nothing to see. As graphic novel straddles between the novel and the image Apnea is admirably this space where it becomes possible both to describe the inner silence and to represent the void that it creates, from this point outside ourselves in which we shoot these intimate catastrophic and apocalyptic invisible to others.
